COMMENTS:
I checked and rechecked both Rebeccas names and dates. I thought maybe I had misread Rebecca Matthews' stone because her death date was so close to Rebecca Skeen's. I thought maybe Rebecca Skeen & Rebecca Matthews were the same person.
All the names listed were on just one stone, except for Rebecca Matthews her stone was in poor shape and hard to read, (the other one was in great shape and easy to read) but I think I have all the info correct according to the stones.
The following inscription was on the back of the Skeen stone:
Family Record.
James R. Skeen & Sarah Fallis were married in Vevay, IN
by Rev. Wm. Northcote, June 20, 1839
* These names and dates were also on the back of the Skeen stone, but it is thought to be a memorial site and that these people aren’t actually buried here.
